We are very excited to welcome the Rev. Edmund Harris as our new Priest and Director

The Rev. Edmund Harris is excited and humbled to be joining All Saints Church and Community Centre as priest beginning September 1. Edmund and his family recently moved to Toronto from Seattle, where he served as Associate Priest at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Medina, Washington.

Over more than twenty years of ministry, Edmund has been blessed to serve in a wide variety of Christian communities, including an historic Japanese American parish in Seattle, a street church community in Providence, Rhode Island, and alongside LGBTQIA+ young people in Chicago. His ministry has included preaching and worship, pastoral care, children and youth ministry, community outreach, and helping congregations discern how God is calling them into the future.

During the All Saints search process, Edmund was especially moved by the community’s commitment to putting Jesus’ command to love into action in Moss Park. He was also struck by something a member of the community said during his interview: “Here at All Saints, Jesus is Lord.” Those words helped him recognize All Saints as a place where he could feel at home.

Edmund shares his life with his spouse, Michael, their eight-year-old son, Ben, and their cat, Leo. The family is settling into their new life in Toronto and is looking forward to becoming part of the All Saints community.

Edmund is eager to get to know the people of All Saints, hear your stories, and share in the work of building up God’s kingdom at the corner of Sherbourne and Dundas.
