This service celebrates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem with the waving of palms.

MAUNDY THURSDAY—Thursday, April 6, 2022

6 PM — Holy Communion and Foot-washing

This service commemorates the Last Supper, when Jesus ate bread and drank wine with his disciples and, as a sign of his self-giving love for them, washed their feet.

GOOD FRIDAY—Friday, April 7, 2022

9 AM — Stations of the Cross

This community walk memorializes those who have suffered and died because of the opioid overdose epidemic. Drawing on the Good Friday tradition of marking the 14 points or “stations” where Jesus stopped on his way to the Cross, we will stop at 14 places where community members have died in the past year. We will begin and end our walk at All Saints Church- Community Centre at Dundas and Sherbourne, the epicentre of Toronto’s opioid epidemic. As this is an outdoor service, please dress appropriately.

12 PM — The Celebration of the Lord’s Passion

In this most solemn service of the church year, we observe the day of Jesus’ crucifixion through reading the story of his suffering and death, penitential prayers, and meditative music.

EASTER VIGIL—Saturday, April 8, 2022

7 PM — Holy Communion and Renewal of Baptismal Vows

This first service of Easter is one of the most ancient church traditions. We gather around a fire at sundown, beginning in darkness and moving into light. This service of light, word, music, and sacrament celebrates our passage from sin and death to grace and life through Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection.

EASTER DAY—Sunday, April 9, 2022

11 AMHoly Communion

One of the holiest days of the Christian year, Easter Day celebrates Jesus’ resurrection with joyous hymns, readings, and holy communion.
