Exposure Project 2013

We’re pleased to announce that the 2013 Exposure Project will take place on Friday May 31, 2013, beginning 8:00 pm, at St. James Cathedral Centre, 65 Church Street, Toronto.  For tickets and more information, please visit: Exposureproject.blossomr.com

The Exposure Project is an endeavor designed to support homeless and street-involved women in the Regent Park and Moss Park community. Women, selected from among those who attend All Saints’ Friday morning drop-in program, have received disposable cameras and photography lessons and have been encouraged to take photographs of their lives. The Exposure Project is aimed at empowering women through the arts, providing them with the opportunity to tell their stories, to learn, and to contribute to the ongoing viability of the organization that provides them with support in their own community. Through this project the women are educating the community about their lives. On April 19, 2012, All Saints hosted a fundraiser to exhibit the women’s photography. One hundred percent of the funds raised went towards funding future programming for street-involved women.
